Pramathesh Ambasta has more than 29 years of experience in the areas of rural development, livelihoods, entitlement of marginalized communities and watershed management. Besides programme management and implementation, building civil society partnership, capacity building, training and research are his forte. He has worked closely with various Government bodies and consortiums. He has also been the Convener of the National Consortium of CSOs on MGNREGA, working with 72 partners across 76 districts of 12 states of India. Several articles written or co-authored by him have been published in major journals and newspapers of India.

Sharad Bhargava
Chief Finance Officer
Sharad is a finance management professional with three decades of experience including over fifteen years in the development sector. Technical strengths include financial management, budgetary controls, donor coordination, treasury management, statutory compliance, assurance and audits. In the current role, as Chief Finance Officer with BRLF, he is responsible for financial planning and management of operations, grantee management, governance and assurance at BRLF. He holds a Masters in Finance Management and is a qualified Company Secretary.
Kuldip Singh
Lead Program
Kuldip has done his Masters in Social Work and has more than fifteen years of diverse experience in development sector. He has been associated with many grassroots organizations and has substantial experience in managing projects supported by national and international agencies. His area of expertise is management of grassroots projects, resource mobilization, financial management, human resources management and team building. He has previously worked with Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, as a team leader of the Rajasthan natural resources management project. He is also a founding member of Gram Gaurav, an NGO based in Rajasthan.
D Sreenivas Rao
Head Resource Mobilisation
Trained in Social Work from Osmania University, and subsequently in Management of NGOs from the London School of Economics, Sreenivas Rao Dakshinadi, has gained over 29 years of experience with the NGO sector in India. After an initial grounding of 3 years at the grassroots, Rao moved on to work with Catholic Health Association of India for a decade, promoting a rights-based approach to health care and later on with CARE India, Plan International and lastly with HLFPPT, a Trust promoted by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GoI for about a decade. Over the years he has gained expertise in program management, grant management, partnership management and business development.
Sayantani Satpathi
Research & Institutional Partnership Officer
Sayantani is a mixed method researcher, who works on a wide-range of policy issues. Prior to joining BRLF, Sayantani served as the Impact Assessment Director for Going to School and Senior Research Associate for Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy. Sayantani was a Doctoral student in Public Policy in the University of Oklahoma, United States. During her graduate studies in University of Oklahoma and Kent State University, United States she worked as a researcher in projects funded by US federal and state agencies
Rashmi
Programme Executive
Rashmi has an engineering degree in Information Technology, after which she completed her M.Phil. Degree in Development Practice from Ambedkar University Delhi. In the development sector, she has worked at grassroots implementation with women and community based institutions on livelihoods, intermediary support role, capacity building and governance. Before joining BRLF, she has worked with Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN).
Diksha Satyawali
Programme Executive
Diksha has two years of experience in the rural development sector. Before joining BRLF she has worked with SRIJAN and the Rajasthan State Rural Livelihood Mission. She has completed her graduation from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, in Computer Engineering after which she moved to the development sector to follow her passion.

Programme Executive – Capacity Building
As a development professional, Supriya has an overall experience of 3 years of working with the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society. She is a commerce graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management with specialization in Development Management from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal. Her key skills are project management, mobilization and team handling. She has an interest in working for youth and women for their overall development.
Sushil Pal
Accounts Officer
Sushil is a finance professional with MBA (Finance) with more than 8 years of qualitative experience in managing various aspects of Accounts & Finance functions in various prominent national and international Organizations. The functions undertaken by him include, but are not limited to, annual audit, statutory vompliances, MIS, budget preparation and finalization of accounts up to th Balance Sheet. He has previously worked with CIMMYT and WWF, India.
Pratibha Aswal
Admin & HR Officer
Pratibha is a competent and enthusiastic professional with a proven track record of providing outstanding administrative support for more than 6 years. Prior to joining BRLF, she has worked with organisations like PRADAN, Solidaridad, Project Concern International. She holds a master’s degree in finance and Diploma in Human Resource Management.

Ravi is a highly motivated professional who is competent at multi-tasking with more than 6 years of experience in office administration. He is associated with BRLF since its inception. Ravi has significant experience of working with Government of India at Planning Commission. He has completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from RML Awadh University, Faizabad.
